This was one of the most fun weddings I was a part of in 2012! Kristen and Jorden are super fun people who very much surround themselves with other fun people! I smiled and laughed all day long! As I did, you will likely fall in love with Kristen’s beautiful smile, which she wore so well on her wedding day. And you might tear up a little when you see the look in Jorden’s eyes when he first saw his bride on their wedding day – at the end of the aisle, on the arm of her father.

 

They were married at St. Christopher’s Church in Nisswa, and held their reception at the beautiful Grand View Lodge in Brainerd.

 

Photographer’s Note: This was my first time photographing a wedding at Grand View Lodge, so I did some research online beforehand, so I could get a feel for the venue. Somewhere in my research, I saw the main lodge at Grandview, lit up just at dusk and the above photo popped into my head! When it got dark enough, I stole the couple away for just a few minutes. It was lit with a video light, which gives me the ability to gently light the couple, while maintaining the ambience of the pathway lights and lodge lights.
