I’m blogging the last of my winter photography today. It’s fitting, as I woke up to a very chilly Minnesota this morning, it can only go up from here, right? :)
My afternoon in Minneapolis with Chris and Jill was so sweet! I love engagement sessions, because between locations (and afterwards over coffee or dinner), we have lots of time to chat about more than just weddings and photography. I get to know more about what they love about life, each other, their work…anything goes! The photography becomes a byproduct of an afternoon spent with new friends, and that’s the way I like it!
I especially enjoyed the creative freedom I felt that Chris and Jill offered me during the session. A couple of times, I would show them images on the back of the camera, just to make sure I was meeting their vision as well as mine. They were excited to see what was happening behind the camera! When I saw which images they chose after the session was edited and posted, it confirmed to me that Chris and Jill and I are a great fit! I’m very much looking forward to documenting their wedding this summer.
